The Portuguese educational system offers different sequential levels of education.
Starting with Pre-School (from 3 years of age), all of them are offered in the public network, namely Primary Education, Secondary Education and Higher Education – structured according to the Bologna principles.
Besides the vast public offer, Portugal also has renowned private schools, including some of the most famous international schools, as well as universities well represented in the world rankings.
