As a result of the country’s rich history, the Portuguese cultural heritage provides a wide and differentiated offer. It reflects all the influences exerted by the peoples who inhabited the now national territory, as well as others, resulting for example from Portuguese expansion and diaspora. Fado, one of the greatest icons of national culture, literature painting, sculpture, tiles, music in general, monuments, dance, among many others, are part of a huge cultural heritage.
